Designer Anna Usborne, from SVA, has teamed up with local architects Millar Howard Workshop to make a pop up restaurant in the Goods Shed as a place to meet, eat and encounter art.
They have designed and made a series of cast concrete tables and produced the Star Chair, designed by architect Dave Wilson at Millar Howard Workshop. Together these elements aim to respect the building's historic industrial past whilst offering a contemporary intervention in the Goods Shed.
Hobbs House Bakery will be providing the food. They can chart five generations of bakers in the family, from early 20th Century roots in Gloucestershire right through to Tom Herbert, father of 4 aspiring, potentially 6th generation bakers.
Born with flour on their fingers Tom Herbert and his brother Henry have recently been seen on their popular TV series The Fabulous Baker Brothers.
